George is a Third Six Pupil. He successfully completed pupillage at a leading set in Liverpool, where he gained experience in financial remedies, private law children, and public law children. George graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Law, having spent a year abroad studying at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He completed the BPC at the University of Law in London and graduated with a Very Competent grade.
Prior to pupillage, George spent three years as a paralegal at various specialist family law firms in Liverpool and in London where he worked on cases in all areas of private family proceedings. He gained experience in financial remedies cases across a variety of asset levels.
While working as a paralegal, George assisted on the case of A and B (Parental Alienation: No.1, No.2, No.3 and No.4) and Re A & B (Children: “Parental Alienation”) (No 5) [2023] EWHC 1864, which secured the largest costs order ever awarded against a mother in Children Act proceedings, as well as E v L [2021] EWFC 60 (Fam), a leading case on short, childless marriages.
George has been instructed on cases in all areas of public and private law Children Act matters, including complex, lengthy findings of fact, deprivation of liberty orders and non-accidental injuries. George has experience representing a range of client’s including parents and Guardians.
George has experience being instructed on various matrimonial finance proceedings, including those involving international elements, pension sharing matters, non-disclosure of assets and pre-nuptial agreements.
He welcomes instructions in all Children Act matters, both public and private law, Domestic Abuse cases and Financial Remedies.
