About 

Prior to studying Law Alastair Martey qualified as a Social Worker and worked at the Barnardo’s Children’s Charity for two years.  Upon completion of the BPTC, Alastair worked as an education advocate for the Communities Empowerment Network.

Practice overview 

Alastair Martey’s practice is comprehensive, covering the entire spectrum of family law from financial matters through to care proceedings. This breadth of expertise ensures he can handle any issue that may arise.

Alastair’s expertise shines in his specialisation in school exclusions, where he represents parents of children at Governors Disciplinary Committee hearings and Independent Review Panels.

Alastair’s practice also includes representing parents at School Admission Appeal hearings and at the First Tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs and Disability), ensuring they have a strong advocate in their corner.
